This article explains the current KDesk sign-in and account recovery experience for internal users, including Sign In, Sign Up, Password Reset, and Single Sign-On.

When to Use Each Option

OptionWhen to use it
Sign InUse this when you already have a KDesk account and want to open your workspace.
Sign UpUse this when you need to create a new KDesk account for the first time.
Reset PasswordUse this when you cannot remember your password or need to set a new one.
Single Sign-OnUse this when your organization allows you to sign in with an existing work identity such as Microsoft or Google.

The Sign In page asks for your work email and password. It also includes a Reset password link in case you cannot access your account. If your organization supports SSO, you may also see buttons for Microsoft, Google, or another approved provider.

If your sign-in attempt is unsuccessful, KDesk shows an error message so you can correct the problem and try again.

The Sign Up page lets you create a new KDesk account using your email address and a password. It also links to the Seraphex Terms and Privacy Policy, which appear before account creation is completed.

If single sign-on is available for your environment, you may also be able to create or connect your account using your organization’s sign-in provider instead of creating a separate password.

Reset Password

The password reset flow works in two steps. First, you enter your account email and ask KDesk to send a reset link. Then, after opening that link from your email, you choose and confirm a new password.

If the reset link is no longer valid, KDesk will let you know and ask you to request a new one.

Single Sign-On

When SSO is available, you can use your work identity to sign in instead of entering a KDesk password. The exact providers shown depend on your organization’s configuration.

If the SSO attempt cannot be completed, KDesk returns you to the sign-in flow and shows an error message so you can try again or use another sign-in method.

Password Guidance

Use a strong password that you do not reuse elsewhere. The current sign-up screen recommends at least 10 characters with mixed upper- and lower-case letters, and the current password reset screen requires at least 8 characters.

Helpful Notes

If account creation succeeds but you are not signed in automatically, return to Sign In and continue with the email address you just registered.
