This article explains the current Invites and Member Management features in KDesk, including how workspace admins invite members, how member profiles and permissions are managed, and how invited users accept or decline pending invitations.
The Members page shows counts for active members, inactive members, and pending invites. It supports search by name, email, title, and division, plus status filtering and client-side sorting by member, title, division, and status.
Pending invites are shown on the same page so admins can see who has not joined yet and revoke an invite when needed.
The Invite member modal collects an Email, Title / role, Division, and whether the new member should be active immediately. If the team uses a membership email domain lock, the invite email must match one of the allowed domains before KDesk will send the invite.
Pending invites remain visible on the Members page until the invited user accepts the invitation or an admin revokes it.
The Edit membership modal updates a member’s profile and permissions. The editable profile fields are Title, Division, Notification email, and Active membership. Notification email is also checked against the workspace domain lock when that rule exists.
Each permission section supports Select all and Deselect all for the toggles currently in view.
The Members page supports two destructive actions:
KDesk prevents an account owner from editing or removing their own membership from the Members page.
The personal Invites page lists team invitations sent to the currently signed-in account. Each invite card shows the team name when it can be resolved, plus the invited title and division. Selecting Answer Invite opens a modal where the user can Accept invite or Decline invite.
Accepting adds the user to the workspace immediately. Declining removes the invite, but the team can invite the user again later.
